A Few Minutes Live: D.C. at Eaton WorkshopWHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BUILD FOR THE CITY THAT BUILT YOU?
Washington, D.C., has a particular way of producing people who build with community in mind. For A Few Minutes Live at Eaton DC, we brought together three people whose work the city has shaped to talk about what it means to build for the places and people that built you.
The conversation featured Modi Oyewole, founder of swang and co-founder of Trillectro; Ariana Davis, founder of STRIPT, BUJI Matcha, and the Ari Davis Foundation; and Mahammad Mangum, co-founder of The Village DC, a community hub built around culture, entrepreneurship, and connection.
Hosted at Eaton DC, Eaton Workshop’s flagship hotel and cultural hub, the evening ended with a live performance from Eli Derby.
